DUST OR RUST / Ecological Media Residencies in Rural Space

The ecological media art residency is situated in Vysočina region of the Czech Republic, in Kravín. The non-profit organization yo-yo is starting a residency project, dedicated to ecology, art and culture. Artists will stay in the farm, working on their projects in close connection with the environment: the former cow house with garden and preserved stable, in a little village below the mountains. In Kravín, the subject of time is important: natural and enforced changes of the area. The residency artists will reflect the space in their projects, creating temporary site specific installation, involve locals in discussions. We want to invite artists using various media and tools (electronics, video, sound, performance, text, sculpture...) to create long-term projects, using technologies with the sensitivity to the environment.
